Job Description

We're in search of a MLE & Backend Engineers with an exceptional track record and a profound passion for artificial intelligence. This pivotal role is not just about working in a highly functional team; it's about pioneering in an uncharted territory of decentralized AI The perfect candidate is someone deeply versed in Python, but with a strong inclination towards performance-driven programming languages such as Rust, C++, and Go. Responsibilities:

• Work as part of the team of engineers to innovate, develop, and deploy AI models within the Bittensor ecosystem.
• join us in the charge of integrating cutting-edge machine learning algorithms with decentralized applications, using Rust, C++, and Go for maximum performance and efficiency.
• Cultivate a culture of excellence, creativity, and openness, empowering your team to adopt a "Yes-and" approach to problem-solving and ideation.
• Stay ahead of the curve in AI research, incorporating the latest advancements and methodologies into our solutions to maintain our competitive edge.
• Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure the seamless integration of AI technologies into our product suite.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of AI model development, from the initial design and fine-tuning to backend implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field, from a reputable institution.
• Demonstrable leadership experience in delivering production-level AI products, with a portfolio to showcase your achievements.
• Expert proficiency in Python, with substantial experience in performance-driven languages such as Rust, C++, and Go.
• Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience in model development, fine-tuning, backend engineering, and the deployment and maintenance of AI models.
• Proven capability to stay abreast of and apply cutting-edge AI research and techniques in practical, impactful ways.
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities, with a knack for innovative thought and the ability to conceptualize out-of-the-box solutions.
• Strong communication skills, adept at guiding teams through complex technical challenges and fostering a collaborative, innovative environment.
